      • Instructions: Sift the matcha to remove clumps, then add hot water (about 80°C/176°F) and whisk briskly in a "W" or "M" motion until a frothy layer forms on the surface. This method yields a thinner, more delicate tea known as "usucha."

      Thick Tea (Koicha)

      • Ratio: 3 to 4 grams of matcha to 30-50 ml of water.
      • Instructions: Sift the matcha and add a smaller amount of hot water. Mix slowly and thoroughly until the consistency is smooth and thick. This method produces a rich, concentrated tea called "koicha."

      Iced Matcha Lattes

      • Ratio: 1 to 2 grams of matcha to 30 ml of water, then add oat milk milk.
      • Instructions: Prepare the matcha as you would for usucha, then pour on top of oat milk with ice for a creamy, flavorful matcha latte.
