My first time trying an Indian matcha brand, and I’m genuinely impressed! The powder had a stunning jade green hue and a soft, velvety texture, both signs of high quality. It whisked beautifully into a rich microfoam, which is exactly what you want in a good matcha.
The taste was clean, earthy, and slightly sweet with a balanced umami, nothing like the bitter, acidic matcha I’ve come across from lower-quality brands in India. Definitely a pleasant surprise and one I’ll be returning to.
