HISTORY OF JAPANESE MATCHA
HISTORY OF JAPANESE MATCHA
Japanese matcha has its origins in the 12th century when Zen Buddhist monks brought the practice of grinding and drinking powdered green tea to Japan. Over time, it became deeply intertwined with Japanese tea ceremonies, particularly through the influence of the tea master Sen no Rikyū in the 16th century, who shaped the rituals around its preparation. Today, matcha is celebrated worldwide for its unique flavor, cultural significance, and health benefits.

I love it. And I'd put it close to the ceremonial grade matcha that I bought from Uji, Kyoto. Yes, that good!
Good
Enjoyed it, but things could definitely be better. Still not as good as my daily matcha (which is also cheaper but currently out of stock) but a whole lot better that their ceremonial matcha (did not like it at all -I don't see it on the website anymore).
Quality aside, the tin really needs to change. I cannot decant it from the pouch into the tin because it is so tight and the lid has to be popped open. Why do that when most good tins come with screw lids.
I'd definitely repurchase if the packaging improves
I’ve tried several brands and this is always the best. I’ve converted people who don’t like matcha into matcha lovers w this.
The quality and the taste of the matcha is not great. For the price we are paying we should be getting top quality product. They don’t accept returns too.
